:let me know how the finished product works out and looks, I'll probably be taking on this project on the following months. Now one cool feature to add to the RepRap will be the object scanner found on the printer shown on the video.

is that there are hundreds of variations on this theme, and
that they all have their pros and cons. so i have to just
stay focused and build a basic machine that supports 1.7
and 3mm filement. I can print my mods later if I need
them. Ie, the filement feed control box. it's been
overwhelming to stay focused. :)
